Florin Ionescu-Galati , State Soloist-Violin     Brasov Philharmonic Orchestra
He was born in 1970 in Bucharest , Romania and he started to study the violin at the age of four years old with his father , the famous violonist and conductor Ilarion Ionescu-Galati .
At the age of ten years old he already started his violin carreer by having his first broadcast with the National Radio Orchestra when he played the Concert for violin and orchestra by Kabalevsky and received excellent critiques .
He attended the School of Music in Brasov , begining in 1976 receiving instruction from Radu Hamzea . In 1989 he became a student of The Academy of Music in Bucharest , his teacher being Prof. Stefan Gheorghiu , but always he was also under his father's musical advice .
Along with several recitals and concerts in Romania , Florin Ionescu-Galati began his international carreer in 1982 by performing recitals and concerts with orchestras in USA , Canada , Bulgaria , Switzerland , Turkey , Greece , Austria , Moldavia , France , Italy , Norway , Japan , Germany , Hungary , Spain and England .
In 1993 , he became state soloist of the Philharmonic Orchestra Brasov , Romania . 
He was Prize Laureate in the following International Competitions :

-The Highest prize of the "Union of Critics and Romanian Interprets" 1996

In 2000 he was declared soloist of the year all over Turkey . In 2003 the Foundation "Ion Voicu" gave him the diplomma and gold medal for his special merit of maintaining alive the memory of great violonist Ion Voicu .
In 2002 and in 2004 he was awarded by the Union of the Romanian Critics for Music with the prize for promoting the  romanian music in Romania as well as abroad .
He was invited to play as soloist with tall orchestas in Romania ( including Bucharest:Radio National Orchestra and Radio Chamber Orchestra and "G.Enescu" National Philharmonic Orchestra ) and also with the following philharmonic orchestas from: Graz , Saarbrucken , Adana , Istambul , Ankara , Munchen , Izmir , Norway , Budapest , Marseilles , Genova , Athens , Janacek-Prague , Moldavian , Deutsche Rundfunk , Basel ecc.  
He played in famous concert halls such as : Santori Hall Tokyo , Radio Hall Romania , Carnegie Hall , Megaron Athens , Megaron Thessaloniki , Herkuleessaal Munchen , Atheneum Hall Bucharest , Billkent Ankara , Beethoven Halle Bonn , Stefaniesaal Graz , Garsteig Concert Hall Munchen .
He played also with great musicians such as : Valentin Gheorghiu , Ayla Erduran , Iosif Conta , Rainer Hoffman , Lorry Wallfish , Ian Brown , Horia Andreescu , Gurer Aykal , Alain Paris , Eugen Sarbu , Marek Pijarowski , Vladimir Altschuler and so on so forth .
He recorded with Electrecord , ZDF , Sipario Dischi ,  Radio Istambul , Radio Romania .
